Two Common Skin Problems Revealed

Your skin is the first line of defense that protects you from danger. It is the biggest organ in the body and skin problems can be the first sign that something is wrong with your body.

As we grow older, the skin becomes less elastic and you start losing the smooth vibrant skin from your youth. Therefore, it is important that you look after your skin to maintain a healthy looking skin for as long as possible, especially your face.

The food you eat, the nutrients that you apply to your skin, too much sun and other factors all play a vital role in your skin health and maintaining a vibrant skin.

1. Pimples

Pimples or acne can occur during puberty but also affects adults.

There are many causes of acne and some people suffer more than others. A pimple here and there probably won't bother you too much, but if you get one or more on your face, it is definitely a problem, due to the social stigma attached to it.

Even if pimples are caused by puberty, there are still some things you can do to at least reduce them or get rid of your pimples completely. The easiest way to get rid of a pimple is to squeeze them, but it is not recommended, since it can damage your skin and cause scarring.

There are a lot of commercial products available that can help you reduce your acne, but the problem is that it is normally expensive. If you want to go the cheaper route, you could always try some natural home remedies such as lemon juice, baking soda, steaming and more.

2. Wrinkles

At this stage, it is impossible to avoid this type of skin problem, especially when you get older. Due to the fact that your body regenerates or itself approximately every 7 years, the skin also gets renewed, but not as efficiently as before, causing it to age as is the case with the rest of your body.

There are many scientific reasons as to why the body ages and maybe one day there will be a cure for aging. The best you can do at this stage is to look after your skin. In particular, avoid the sun or at least get a decent sun protection cream when you are exposed to the sun or just want to enjoy yourself.

Smoking is also a major cause of wrinkles and should therefore be avoided... not just for your skin There are many anti-aging creams available on the market or you can use a simple solution such as virgin coconut oil to moisturize and replenish your skin.

The only problem with coconut oil is that your skin is and feels oily and can be uncomfortable, also staining clothes and linen.

Conclusion

Pimples and wrinkles are just two of the most common types of skin problems.

There are other skin problems as well which include blemishes, brown spots, dullness and redness of the skin to name a few. If you want a healthy and vibrant looking skin, it is critical to pay attention to the things that can harm your skin, which also includes your diet.
